Description:

Minister and serve International School students from all over the world in the capital of Bavaria. Home to world class football clubs, breweries and BMW, Munich is one of the most prosperous cities in Europe. The ministry is in English, though learning German will be required for day to day living. 

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate spiritual leadership on a personal and corporate level.
  • Develop a community of volunteer leaders — some to work with adolescents and others to serve on committee.
  • Develop a plan to train, disciple and develop volunteer leaders.
  • Develop a staff recruitment pipeline.
  • Oversee the resource development of the area; meet with donors and oversee fundraising events and/or opportunities.
  • Participate in dynamic direct ministry with kids.
  • Build a team to handle the administrative tasks of the area.
  • Participate and lead annual staff events and training events.​

Qualifications:

  • College degree.
  • Young Life team leader experience required.
  • Ability to thrive in a multicultural and multilingual community.
  • Excellent communication skills to accurately convey the mission to the community.
  • This could be an area director, staff associate or field staff position. The job responsibilities and scope will be adjusted for the level of experience.
