Staff Associate I or II — Miami, FL

After a 12-year hiatus, Young Life is back in Miami! We have an experienced area director and a diverse team of adults and families who are committed to launching Young Life in the Palmetto Bay area of Miami. Palmetto Bay is an affluent village (suburb) about 12 miles southwest of Miami on the beautiful shores of Biscayne Bay. Palmetto Bay is widely considered one of the best places to live in Florida, with a unique blend of rural, old Florida charm, and urban sophistication.

We currently have full access to Westminster Christian School, a private school in Palmetto Bay, with strong local church support and proximity to the University of Miami. With significant fundraising complete and a vibrant local board in place, we are ready to hire a staff associate I or II to come alongside our area director and support Young Life in Palmetto Bay.

This person would focus on supporting the launch of high school and middle school ministry, recruiting and training volunteer leaders, and continuing to build relationships with adults in the community. We expect that once launched, Young Life in Palmetto Bay will be a catalyst for Young Life expansion across the city of Miami.
