Notes:

The town of Dallas, population 15,000, is nestled in the mid-Willamette Valley of Oregon, next door to the state capital of Salem. Oregon’s largest city, Portland, is approximately 70 miles north, and the Oregon Coast is 60 miles to the west. With several colleges and universities in neighboring cities, Dallas lies at a vibrant crossroads and is a great place to raise a family. Recreational activities abound, from hiking and skiing in the Cascade Range, to water sports on the Willamette River, to fun activities on the beautiful Oregon Coast, to arts, theater, shops and restaurants nearby.

Young Life is brand new to Dallas, and a team of committee and volunteers are excited to take the next step in hiring a staff associate to help grow and develop this new area from the ground up. Neighboring Salem, Keizer and Albany have vibrant Young Life ministries, along with established growing college ministries at Oregon State and several colleges and universities nearby. Dallas is primed and ready to launch ministry at Dallas High School and LaCreole Middle School.
