Regional Administrator — Bronx, NY


​Regional administrator needed to assist with the pioneering work of expanding Young Life ministry in the borough of the Bronx in New York City. Ideal candidate will be proficient in Spanish language skills and be willing to live in or near the Bronx.


​Experience Required for the Job
  • Three to five years administrator experience with proven knowledge of Young Life culture and policies and/or executive level administrative experience with a large organization.
  • Knowledgeable on office management and supervisory techniques; able to plan the work of others. 
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and processes with the capability of handling concurrent tasks and constant interruptions. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to type 75 to 100 wpm with few errors. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality. 
  • Basic accounting skills.  
  • Comfort with and willingness to engage in fund development. 
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with Young Life field staff and offer excellence in customer service to Young Life staff and the public. 
  • Proven relational skills with both kids and adults. 
  • Great customer service skills.


​The Bronx, one of five New York City boroughs, is the home to 1.3 million people. Over the next five years, Young Life Bronx Region plans to make an impact in the lives of 5,000 adolescents by expanding and launching new ministries in five of the 12 community districts. The regional administrator position is a key role enabling the regional director to lead the advancement of ministry expansion.
