Mission Staff (Part-Time) — Lago Vista, TX

Lago Vista Young Life (LVYL) is looking for a part-time staff person to grow and develop existing ministry. Lago Vista is a community located northwest of Austin on the north shore of Lake Travis. Its current population is approximately 10,000 with an approximate three percent growth rate. Lago Vista ISD is a 3-A district with current enrollment of PK-5 ~700, Middle School ~450, and High School ~525. The district offers a wide variety of sports and extra curricular activities.

Young Life/WyldLife has received support from the community and local churches. Three prominent local churches are partnering in supporting the ministry with both financial and program resources. Additionally, school administrators have opened up the middle school building to allow WyldLife club to be held there. The mission for Lago Vista Young Life is to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith. In order to fulfill this mission and continue to grow LVYL, the committee is seeking to hire a part-time staff leader, recruit additional volunteers for leadership and committee, and increase our donor base.
