Mission Staff (Latino Initiative) — Richardson, TX


​Richardson Area Young Life is seeking a part-time mission staff candidate for our area-wide Latino Initiative. We are looking for a healthy leader who is able to engage and invest in a growing Latino community in Richardson, Texas, primarily at Richardson and Pearce High Schools. Young Life has been in Richardson, Texas, since 1966 and has ample community support for reaching all kids in our area.


  • ​Recruit, supervise, support and develop a team of volunteer leaders who are passionate about reaching Latino students.
  • Model excellent contact work, discipleship and club ministry.
  • Continue to develop and execute area vision and a strategic plan alongside the area director and committee.
  • Participation in area staff events, meetings and training.


  • ​A deep and growing faith in Jesus.
  • Ability to build strong, deep and lasting relationships with kids and adults.
  • Proven leadership, vision and team-building skills.
  • Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written English and Spanish communication skills (must be fluent in Spanish).
  • Young Life/ministry experience preferred but not required.


​Richardson Area Young Life has high school ministry at Richardson, Pearce and Berkner High Schools. Latino students make up the largest demographic of each school and have struggled to be reached. 43.9% at Richardson, 44% at Pearce, and 36.2% of Berkner students are Latino. Reaching more kids in Richardson with the love of Jesus is our greatest desire.
