Redmond Young Life is looking for a dynamic individual who can hit the ground running, someone who has the ability to engage with adults/parents, run a model club and Campaigners group, recruit volunteers to our leadership teams, build parent support teams around each school, and recruit adults to our committee. We are looking for someone who has Young Life experience, proven ministry skills, the ability to raise personal support, the ability to manage and train leaders, and develop/supervise ministry at two high schools, a magnet school and two middle schools.

Redmond has transformed itself into a rejuvenated town with upscale restaurants, brew pubs and community pride. It is set in beautiful central Oregon, long one of the most desirable places to live in not only Oregon but the U.S as well. Smith Rock State Park in Terrebonne is a top attraction in Redmond’s backyard as well as Mt. Bachelor ski area, the high lakes and rivers of the Cascades. Redmond is also home to the Deschutes County Fair and Rodeo.

This is the perfect size community in which to have a thriving Young Life ministry. Our desire is to have a dynamic WyldLife program in Redmond that provides a solid foundation for growing our high school club ministries.

The team you’ll be joining has an experienced committee who is very involved and wants to partner with a new area director to build strong club ministries at all schools moving forward. The area has had Young Life for the last decade, and it is time to hire an area director to take Young Life to the next level ... is it you? If you’re a person with proven success in leading and building a dynamic ministry and you think it’s you, apply!
