Area Director — Burlington, WA

Skagit Valley Young Life is looking for an area director who can lead with drive and passion to take Young Life in our area to the next level. Nestled at the base of the Cascade Mountains, 61 miles north of Seattle and just 46 miles south of the Canadian border, your outdoor activities and adventures are endless.

Our area consists of four cities: Burlington, Mount Vernon, Sedro Woolley and Concrete. They have a combined population of 121,000 people, four high schools and eight middle schools. The Skagit Valley enjoys incredible diversity, and more than 40% of our student population is of Latin descent.

We are currently serving Burlington, Sedro Woolley and Mount Vernon schools through combined weekly Young Life clubs, bi-weekly WyldLife clubs, a handful of Campaigners Bible study groups and YoungLives. Skagit Valley has a strong foundation and a community of untapped support. We are looking for a strong leader to build and develop the volunteer leaders and donors so Young Life can reach more kids with the Gospel. We have a solid committee with seven members and the opportunity for rapid growth in adult volunteers and community involvement.
