​The Young Life Mission Services office is seeking qualified interns to "learn and serve" during summer 2018 at Young Life Mission Services in Colorado Springs, CO!

Coaching and Training
Interns will participate in department meetings, Mission Services-wide activities, spiritual mentorship and personal development opportunities throughout the summer. Interns may have additional opportunities such as a "day at camp" or activities designated by the supervisor.

Ideal Candidates
  • An ideal candidate would be either a Junior or Senior in college with the exception of a first-year law student for the Legal Services internship.
  • Young Life Mission Services desires to recruit self-motivated individuals who tackle tasks with creativity, ingenuity and energy within their current fields of study. Successful applicants will display the ability to "be relational," have well-developed organizational/communication skills and the maturity to follow through on all work projects.
  • Students interested in a Young Life Mission Services internship​ should be teachable, able to multitask on both ​short- and long-term projects, and be in agreement with Young Life's Mission Statement and Statement of Faith​.
  • Young Life experience preferred. 
Intern's Commitment, Compensation and Housing
  • Commitment: 40 hours per week for 10 weeks. The Monday-Friday schedule allows weekends to enjoy the Colorado Springs area.
  • Compensation: These are unpaid positions with a stipend of $2,000 given in increments for successful fulfillment of internship.
  • Housing: Housing is provided by Young Life and is mandatory. The cost is $1,000 for the summer and is covered by Young Life.
  • Transportation: Travel is at an intern's expense. It's strongly recommended that interns have his or her own vehicle for the summer.
  • College Credit: Supervisor will coordinate with the intern's academic program to assist with college credit, when possible. 
  • Core Dates: The internship will run for the duration of summer 2018, specific dates TBD.
    Other than a possible exception of Young Life leaders taking kids to camp, interns must be fully available during these dates.​​
