You love Jesus, and have served in Young Life. Have you ever wondered if ministry or full time staff is for you?

We are excited to offer you a chance to discern an answer — to learn and be discipled by some of the strongest ministries in Young Life College over the course of 10 months.

Pray. Discern. Go.

YLC Intern Experience participants will receive a $1,600 per month stipend. Relocation costs and health benefits are not provided. If participants discern to join Young Life staff as a Staff Associate, fundraising training will be offered in the spring of the internship. The typical workweek for a YLC Intern Experience participant is 28 hours.
Expected Outcomes: leadership development, direct ministry, public speaking & communication skills.

Young Life College and University's mission is to introduce college students to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith.  
  1. Believes​ in Jesus Christ, currently seeking growth in one's spiritual life, and currently seeking maturity in one's faith. We are looking for people who are teachable and display qualities of faithfulness in their lives.
  2. College graduate with a four-year degree at an accredited university, or equivalent.
  3. Willing and able to work at a variety of times, including nights and weekends, as needed.
  4. Willing to go where placed and value the YLC Intern Experience opportunity above a particular location/campus ministry. Placement decisions ultimately reside with the Intern Experience Leadership Team, with some consideration to applicant preference.
  5. Agrees to sign and adhere to Young Life's Faith and Conduct Policy.
