Marty Caldwell

Marty Caldwell met Christ in Young Life in 1969 in Arizona. He led club as a volunteer leader from 1972 through 1978 and started on Young Life staff in 1979 in Phoenix. Marty became the regional director for Arizona in 1988. He has been a catalyst for the team, the vision and the building of Lost Canyon, Young Life’s camp in northern Arizona. In March 2006 he was appointed senior vice president of Young Life in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Nine years later he was appointed executive senior vice president over all of Young Life’s international work.
 
He loves his family, golf, fishing, reading and Jesus, but the order differs depending on when you ask. He has a master’s degree in counseling from Arizona State University (‘78) and an M.A. in theology from Fuller Theological Seminary (‘91). He and his wife, Susan, have three kids and three grandchildren.
