 | Is Young Life College different from Young Life in high school?
Although Young Life College is based on the same principles, Young Life College is different. There will also be some variations from one campus to the next. Mainly, Young Life College offers opportunities for college students to gather together, build friendship and learn more about what it means to have a relationship with Christ.

 | Do I have to do anything to join Young Life College?
Nothing is necessary to join Young Life College. It’s open for all college students who want to be involved.

 | What if there is not a Young Life College ministry near me?
Pray that someday there will be. Use the locator to find your regional office and talk to the regional director about what could be done to start one. Also, consider starting a Young Life fellowship at your campus. Even if there is no staff person to run one, people in the community and student leaders can make something happen. |
 | How does a Young Life College ministry get started?
There could be several ways. But the key is a vision coming from students, people in the college community (professors, professionals, etc.) and/or Young Life staff who want to love college students where they are. Those with this vision would then contact the local Young Life area staff and the Young Life regional director to discuss it further. As those with vision come together with the area and regional staff, they would then contact Mike Gaffney, Young Life College director.
The next step would be developing a strategy that involves the community in prayer and financial support, includes a ministry plan that complements existing campus ministries/churches, works in unison with the local Young Life team and invites students into taking ownership of the ministry on their campus. |
