WyldLife camping reflects the core elements of Young Life camping: adventure, humor, majestic scenery, a loving atmosphere and a place where Christ is lifted up for all to see. But just as with every aspect of WyldLife ministry, a key to WyldLife camping is simply remembering to respond to the unique developmental stage of middle school kids. There are 23 camps owned and operated by Young Life, and 12 of those — Rockbridge, Oakbridge, Lake Champion, Castaway, Frontier, Wildhorse Canyon, Southwind, Breakaway Lodge, Woodleaf, Lost Canyon, Timber Wolf Lake and Buttercreek Lodge — are either specifically for WyldLife camp or host one or more middle school weeks during the summer.
Kids may attend WyldLife summer camps during their middle school years, no more than twice, and are not eligible to attend until they have completed their first year of middle school. Contact your local Young Life office for more information.
