Since its first camp in 1950, Young Life has strengthened its commitment to reaching kids through its world-class camping ministry. Young Life’s Small Town ministry has the goal of taking 40 kids from each community to camp every summer. In a small town, the whole population feels the ripple effect when 40 kids come home from a week at Young Life camp.

During camp, small town kids experience the best week of their lives — full of high adventure, fun and the message of God’s love. Set in beautiful surroundings, they participate in everything from horseback riding and mountain climbing to driving Ridge Runners and completing a ropes course. There’s no shortage of excitement. Camp provides the opportunity and environment for teens to open up and share their struggles, fears and thoughts about God.
