Visit Young Life Military's Get Involved page to find out more about how you can get involved with Young Life Military.

How will Young Life Military prepare me to work with military brats?
Before you start work for Young Life Military, you will have to complete a training program through Young Life. This will provide comprehensive preparation that will equip and empower you for the mission. Please contact Young Life Military for further details.

I’ve heard of Club Beyond. What’s that?
Club Beyond, or also referred to as MCYM/Club Beyond, is the name for Young Life club on some military installations.

How can I find a friend whom I had in Club Beyond?
We suggest that you check both the Young Life and MCYM alumni databases to help you keep in touch with old friends. These databases let you update your current information and facilitate a greater sense of connectivity when transitioning to a new post or assignment.

  • Young Life: Visit the Young Life Alumni Database. You can search for your friend here and also add your information so that people can then locate you.
  • MCYM/Club Beyond: Access the Club Connections section on MCYM's Web site. In order to perform a search, you must first sign up for a login and password.

How are Young Life Military staff funded?
Although Young Life Military receives most funding through the charitable gifts of gracious individuals. Young Life Military staff raise support through personal fundraising.

Beginning with a vision statement for ministry, staff work with family, close friends and/or church members in order to build a network of ministry partners able to support the vision financially. In some instances, local private organizations (called community support groups, Club Beyond boosters or committee) may be created to assist in raising support for staff and various programs.

If you wish to give specifically to Young Life Military, please go to the Online Giving site and designate 3465 as the Young Life area ministry that you wish to support.

How does Young Life Military keep kids safe?
The safety of kids is a priority in Young Life. Young Life’s Human Resources department has developed missionwide policies and procedures to ensure that kids — including military brats — are protected when with staff or participating in activities. Find out more on Young Life’s policy on keeping kids safe.
