Childcare volunteers are required to arrive on the first day for pre-camp orientation, assignments, training and setup. Campers will join us on the second day. We require childcare volunteers to stay for the duration of the week to ensure the rapport and trust built with babies and their moms is not disrupted partway through the week.
Camp Cost
$488 per volunteer which includes meals and accommodations.
Volunteers are responsible for their own travel expenses. We arrange a shuttle from the airport. If you choose to use the shuttle, an additional shuttle fee will be charged. The fee is approximately $75 (definite price to be determined closer to the date of camp).

Weather
Michindoh's acreage offers a peaceful setting that encompasses rolling hills, streams and the spring-fed Weatherwood Lake. Average highs in late June are in the upper 70s with lows in the mid-50s.
Flying Instructions
You will be responsible for making your own reservations into Detroit Metro Wayne County Airport (DTW). You must arrive no later than 1 p.m. on the first day. Schedule departing flights after 4 p.m. on the last day. No exceptions! If you book a flight outside of these time restrictions, you will be responsible for arranging your own transportation to and from camp.
Driving Instructions
If you will be driving on your own directly to camp, please plan on arriving between 3 and 5 p.m. on the first day. Departure will be at noon on the last day. A map and driving directions are available to help you.
