Mike Edwards Motorsports — Bringing Young Life's Message to Kids

Mike Edwards Motorsports has partnered with Young Life to bring a message of hope to middle school and high school students throughout the United States.

Young Life is like drag racing. It's an experience that you have to see (and hear!) up close to really understand. For kids, Young Life begins with the experience of caring adults who "show up" in their lives. Young Life leaders are adults whose experiences of God's love lead them to go into the sometimes turbulent and intimidating world of adolescents as friends and mentors.

But that's just the beginning, because through Young Life, kids also experience fun and adventure through weekly meetings called "club" and at Young Life camp, where we promise kids they'll have the best week of their lives! But most importantly, Young Life offers kids a hope and a vision for the abundant life they were created to live.

Young Life leaders have been inviting kids into this life-changing experience for more than six decades. Founded in 1941, Young Life is a non-profit organization active in all 50 states and more than 70 countries reaching more than one million teens each year. At one of Young Life's premier camping properties in operation in North America, leaders bring more than 100,000 kids for a weekend during the school year or a week during the summer; approximately 30,000 kids experience Young Life camping in other locations around the world.

A Team on a Mission

Mike Edwards Motorsports partners with Young Life in an added project titled, "A Team on a Mission." This program gives drivers, sponsors, racing teams and fans a chance to send disadvantaged kids to Young Life camps across the country.
