 | Do kids in other countries have Young Life camping experiences even if they are too far away from a Young Life camp?
Yes! They travel to places throughout their part of the world for a Young Life camping experience. All the main ingredients of a Young Life camping experience are there: fun, humor, risk-taking and the clear presentation of the Gospel. Sometimes these camp trips incorporate service projects or high-adventure treks and, of course, all of them give kids opportunities to respond to the love of God that they’ve heard about.

 | If I make a donation to Young Life International, does my gift go to that area or to the staff person?
You can specify that your gift goes into the account for that specific staff person. When writing your check, make it payable to Young Life. Specify on the memo line that person’s area number, if you know it. If not, include the person’s last name and the country they are in on the memo line.

 | I used the Locater and Young Life does not have a ministry in the country I looked up. Why not?
That could be for a variety of reasons. Often, there are many political and financial requirements that need to be met in order for a Young Life ministry to exist in many countries. It’s often a long process to get ministry established. Staff need to be recruited and raise support and a committee needs to be established. To find out if work is underway to bring Young Life to that country, use the Locater to locate one of Young Life International’s regional offices. Contact that regional office to find out more information. |
