At its best, Young Life is a tapestry of volunteers, with adults of all ages and backgrounds coming together to create a vibrant picture of God’s love for high school students.
Volunteer leaders are adults — ranging from college students to retirees — who give their time at the high schools, leading club and Campaigners and taking kids to camp. They are people whose hearts are fixed on teenagers, and they give their time and energy to becoming friends who can point high school kids on the path to a fulfilling life.
Members of local committees raise area budgets and provide support for leaders and staff, taking ownership of the mission in their community. And others who want to add color to the tapestry donate money and give their time in a variety of other ways — local fund-raising events, leader support — to help Young Life fulfill its mission.
