Amicus students typically have several opportunities to experience Young Life camp. The first opportunity may often be attending a Fall or Winter Weekend Camp with the student’s local Young Life group. These camps may be held at a Young Life camp or at another facility. No matter the location, the experience is an amazing taste of Young Life camping — adventure, humor and fun — that shouldn’t be missed! Oftentimes, Amicus students can receive a partial scholarship to help cover the cost of the weekend.
At the conclusion of the school year, all Amicus students spend a week together at Rockbridge, a Young Life camp in Goshen, Va. Alongside other high school kids from around the country, they’ll have a week filled with high-adventure activities, excellent food and plenty of surprises, as well as opportunities to hear the truth about Jesus Christ and His love for them. Immediately following camp, Amicus students head to Washington, D.C., for a tour of the capital and to be prepped for their return home.
